CAREC Institute Participates in Pakistan Venture Connect 2024
The CAREC Institute actively participated in the Pakistan Venture Connect 2024, represented by Dr. Ghulam Samad, Chief of the Research Division, and Dr. Asif Razzaq, Senior Research Specialist. Dr. Samad played a pivotal role as the event’s moderator, leading key discussions aimed at enhancing regional collaboration and driving investments within the startup ecosystem. The event, held in Islamabad, Pakistan, attracted a distinguished group of venture capitalists, innovation leaders, and startup incubators from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, the People’s Republic of China (PRC), and Uzbekistan.
During the event, Dr. Samad facilitated a critical panel session on Regional Investment Synergies, where top venture capitalists examined strategies for unlocking cross-border collaboration and stimulating economic growth in the region. “Events like this are essential for fostering a thriving startup environment,” Dr. Samad stated. “By promoting cross-border cooperation, we unlock new investment opportunities and lay the foundation for sustainable economic development across the CAREC region.”
