CAREC Institute and the International Finance Forum (IFF) Joint Webinar

On the afternoon of 28 April 2022, the CAREC Institute collaborated with the International Finance Forum (IFF) to organize a webinar on “Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations Between China and the Five Central Asian Countries”.

Mr. Syed Shakeel Shah, the Director of CI, Yu Hongjun, former Chinese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan, as well as high-level experts and scholars from international institutions such as the Asian Development Bank and UNESCAP, held a lively discussion on “New Global Landscape: Green Silk Road Cooperation in Central Asia. ” Topics like climate change, sustainable economic development, and green finance, among others, were in-depth discussed.

CI Director Shah delivered the keynote address, and Deputy Director 2, Dr. Iskandar Abdullaev, spoke as an expert on “Energy Decarbonization: Accelerating the Cooperation for Clean Energy.”
