Policy Dialogue on Digital and Sustainable Trade Facilitation in the CAREC Region

In an era where trade facilitation is pivotal for regional and global economic growth, the CAREC Institute, in collaboration with the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), will host an important policy dialogue. The event will center on the findings of the report titled “Digital and Sustainable Trade Facilitation in the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC)”, and is scheduled on 28 April, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Beijing Time via Zoom. This report, prepared jointly by the ESCAP and the CAREC Institute, highlights the transformative potential of digital solutions in enhancing trade facilitation and promoting sustainable practices across CAREC member countries.

Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the trade facilitation landscape, share experiences, and identify tailored solutions to common barriers.
