Open Call for Grant Proposal Submission: CAREC Capacity Building Events
The CAREC Institute is pleased to announce an open call for grant proposals focused on capacity building events within the CAREC region. This initiative presents a valuable opportunity for CAREC member countries to engage in targeted training and knowledge exchange that align with their specific capacity building priorities and the strategic objectives of the CAREC Institute.
The grant program aims to achieve strengthened professional capacities of national policymakers, increased opportunities for capacity building, enhanced collaboration between local and international experts, and the establishment of sustainable knowledge transfer mechanisms.
The grant program is open to non-profit organizations — academic institutions (including research institutions, think tanks, and universities), government agencies, and civil society organizations.
The grant will be awarded through a competitive process and will cover expenses related to the participation of international experts, trainers, and/or speakers in capacity-building events, based on a co-funding arrangement. Grants will cover up to 50% of total event costs, capped at US$10,000. The funding will be disbursed in installments based on the completion of specific milestones.
All grant proposals must be submitted by February 23, 2025. For more information and to submit your proposal, please refer to this document
