Join the CAREC Institute and the Islamic Development Bank Policy Dialogue on Educational Technology (Online)

The CAREC Institute and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) will host a significant policy dialogue on September 18, 2024, from 16:00 to 18:00 (UTC+8). This event will explore the transformative role of educational technology (EdTech) in enhancing education quality across the CAREC region. It is part of a collaborative research initiative between the CAREC Institute and IsDB titled “Blended Learning through Flipped Classrooms in the CAREC Region – Designing a Data-Driven Flipped Classroom Program.”

The research developed a blended learning model that integrates flipped classrooms and utilizes affordable digital technologies to expand access to quality education in the CAREC region. The dialogue will explore key findings from the study and offer practical policy recommendations for implementing effective blended learning strategies.

Experts from the respective ministries of Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan, as well as education specialists from ADB Institute, UNESCO, and Monash University, will be in attendance. The CAREC Institute and IsDB teams will present research outcomes and country-specific recommendations, soliciting feedback from policymakers.
