Modern Heat Management Training Course Now Available on CAREC Institute e-Learning Platform

The CAREC Program held a training course on “Modern Heat System Management” from May 17 to June 15, 2022, as part of the capacity building program for civil servants, technical experts, business representatives and public organizations of Kazakhstan. The leading German engineering consulting company Dornier Group was engaged by the Asian Development Bank and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to conduct trainings with the participation of international and national experts to support the development of heat energy sector legislation in Kazakhstan. Organizational and technical support was provided by the Kazakh-German University.

The training course includes 14 webinars on 4 modules — technological, planning, tariff setting and institutional. Each webinar was held in an interactive format with answers to participants’ questions and discussion of controversial issues and problems identified by the speaker and proposed by the participants themselves.

The training course will help CAREC member countries to effectively manage the heat supply system. All videos and materials are available at the CAREC Institute E-Learning Platform.
